Alfie Aiden Tjen

Alfie Aiden Tjen is an all-rounded marketer. In his day job, he spearheads his hospitality group in branding and marketing of 4 hotel brands in Singapore for both B2B and B2C consumers – including international chains such as Mercure, ibis Styles and ibis budget. Previously, he has stints in uniform groups such as Singapore Police Force as a Neighbourhood Police Officer for 5 years where he attended to emergency 999 calls. During the course of his work, he has seen various cases from settling domestic disputes, involved in hot pursuits, attending to a murder and also acting as a Police liaison with the community (to name a few).

Looking for a different outlook in life, he left the force and was a ‘Singapore Boy’ living the jet-setting live with Singapore Airlines for another 5 years. Here, he had the opportunity to open his eyes to a whole new world of different cultures and also interact with all walks of life.

In 2022, he was a Mr World Singapore (Senior) Runners-Up. Prior to joining the pageant, not many knew that he has a speech impediment which makes him stutter when conversing. However, this does not stop him from living a ‘normal’ life. He also hopes to provide voice to others who has the same condition and having more representation of people of such in the mainstream media.

In 2021, he was part of the Shopee LIVE Squad where he does LIVE stream and promotes a variety of products from household, fitness, wellness products for various merchants and sellers 

He also enjoys creating content on social media such as TikTok and Instagram (@tj3n10) in promoting positivity messages, fitness, skincare and fashion.

Since 2022, he is involved in NCSF Uplift programme which is a charitable movement that allows people with special needs to benefit from strength training programs.
